Sands Motel

The room was very nice and large (#106). It's been nicely rennovated and it was extremely clean. The bed was comfortable. The towels were motel towels (small and thin), but they were new and clean. Service was a little clumsy. I saw 4 staff members before I was helped, but everyone is very polite. Location is close near the freeway and several decent food places.

I give it 5 stars relative to the price point, which for the other places in the area is cheap at ~60 bucks. The desk clerk was prompt and polite. They only had a smoking room left, but I needed a place so I took it. On first look the room seemed clean. Bed was neat. Went to the bathroom, and other than what was probably a towel rack that at one point had been pulled from the wall, the bathroom was in good shape and clean. I stayed here as part as a cross country road trip, and compared to the other motels I've stayed at this is definitely one of the better ones. Again, it's a cheap place, but I think you definitely get your money's worth.

This hotel is perfect for a quick weekend stay. It’s remodeled and the ac works really well! I really enjoy staying here.

Simple, clean, no funky smells, quiet. And you can park right in front of your room. Check in is fast and easy. I recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sands Motel and was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I checked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and efficient, making the process a breeze. My room was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep, and all the amenities I needed were readily available and in perfect working order. I particularly appreciate the strong Wi-Fi, the quiet atmosphere, the convenient parking The location was also excellent,it was close to local attractions, easy access to the highway, safe neighbourhood. It offered great value for the price, exceeding my expectations for a motel. I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at Sand Motel was truly five-star. I would absolutely stay here again on future trips and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and friendly place to stay. Keep up the great work!

This motel offers great value; 3- star hotel-level room at a motel price. Highly recommended.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. There’s plenty of parking. It’s quiet. The ice machine was not working because they just took over the property. There’s a great restaurant not far away called Livermore Casino. The food was delicious.

First time my watch has said “great” sleep. Comfy bed, quiet space 3 min from walkable downtown, excellent customer service, and super affordable. I’ll definitely be back.

Great bang for your buck. I travel for work & lodging in Livermore cost more than average. The Sands had the best rates in town with a decent room.

Just stayed there for one night. It was a very pleasant experience. The room was newly remodeled, nice and clean. The staff friendly and it is close to Livermore downtown. And not to mention the price: < $60 !! Yes, for two persons! Next time we go wine-tasting in the Livermore area, Sands will be our choice of motel.
